The Community Scorecard (CSC) captures community perceptions of local health services. Through an interactive process, community members (service-users) provide feedback to government agencies (service-providers) on the quality of the services. It helps identify key priorities for action planning, and when used well, it also guides the LGA health and other authorities in resource planning. The CSC is a powerful accountability tool which even after the MNCH2 programme, will guide other partners and CSOs working to improve quality of care in Northern Nigeria.
