The MNCH2 program in Kaduna, inaugurated the state Logistics Management Coordinating Unit (LMCU) to address key issues such as state logistics coordination, data and information visibility, data demand and use, policy development, integration of programmes and harmonisation of strategies. The technical support and high-level advocacy facilitated by MNCH2 led to the expansion of the state procurement and supply management technical working group meetings to include Vaccines Supply Chain management (SCM) and Contraceptives Logistics Management System in line with the integration approach. In addition, MNCH2 supported the development of the maiden quarterly integrated health commodities stock status report through the State LMCU.
